Chalazion Curette is an ophthalmic instrument used for removing chalazion. Asmall cyst formed by inflammation of a gland in the margin of the eyelid, achalazion is similar to a sty but often requires an incision and drainage to beproperly treated. The round, sharp scooping tip of the Meyhoefer curette isavailable in multiple sizes to treat various size cysts. Following an incision,the curette is used to scoop out the cyst. This product is the #2 curette andhas a round 2mm tip.
